Lost ability to play vob thru mpeg links for dvds I was experimenting with
I hope someone can help. I ahve been ripping dvds, creating mpeg links etc and having no problems watching the dvds. Since I am doing mostly tv shows I have not had to merge vobs.
That said I tried to see what would happen with a large vob. So I tried on to dvds. One of them Heroes Disc 1 I had been wating already on the xbox extender. So I just renamed the existing Heroes folder and ripped a new one. But I got the codec issue screen. So I tried to return to where I was- eliminated all copeis of Heros Disc 1 and reripped it with vobs no longer that 99mg but now those won't run either. Did I somehow leave some data some where so that the extender still things it was the bad version?

Re: Lost ability to play vob thru mpeg links for dvds I was experimenting with
Well, solved the Heroes issue by salvaging original files I ripped that had worked but now I am stuck on Battlestar Galactica
I can't seem to get these to work on the vob style. the xbox keeps saying the codes is wrong or that they are corrupt. I have never played these before so I know the discs are in good condition. I mean I have been buring all day adn then this roadblock. Any ideas? Are these files something different
