This looks sick!  I'm using Boxee as my solution for this now, but it sounds like you'll be able to add new content more quickly using the utilities the computer already has.  From what I understand this just adds an MCML face to the Internet TV content providers right?  If so, good thinking.  That takes away a lot of the nonsense systems like Boxee have to deal with.  Let the content providers deal with the gritty technical details.

I develop and test software for a living and am also a self-proclaimed "Media Center Enthusiast" so if you need any testers I'd be more than happy to test it out.

edit:  Also, what type of continued support are you looking to provide (probably been answered in this thread but I figured I'd ask anyway)?  Will you provide an extension framework and API that will make it easy for people to inject content, or will you eventually open up the source code for community involvement?  I'd be interested because most of my professional development experience is in C#.

However,
I have to break this to those of you still hoping this will work on extenders, it will not.
At least not in the current state...

There is no way to use Flash on an extender.
You can transcode video and stream it. (which is what playon does and our netflix app) However, based on the video demo, this is launching the Hulu website and the standard Hulu Flash player.

I am excited about how far Yaggs is to this point. I believe extender support can be added, as well as a better experience in media center (without having to see the standard Hulu webpage). Possibly by incorporating a upnp client implementation into the app. The future looks bright.

I am looking forward to the progress of this wonderful app.

Anyone thought about looking at the source for Boxee? That might help to figure out how to hook into the flash at Hulu as well as many other sites.

Second, just wondering if you plan on adding in the ESPN360 feed to your online networks list.  I'd love to be able to continue to watch PTI and college basketball games after I suspend my DirecTV account for the summer!

Add NHL GameCenter to that list as well :).  If I can have my shows and hockey, what else do I need?

Also, if you get some time (after sorting through what must be a million requests) can you look into how viable extending Justin.tv to SecondRun.tv could be?  That way there would be an easier way to watch Live TV online without the whole mouse and keyboard deal like you mentioned.

Been watching this thread since your first post and I like everyone else am very excited about this.  Being able to stream to 360 would be huge for a lot of people and I am glad to see you want to work on that after the initial release.  Keep up the great work.

The other thing to think of might be to chat with the OML guys about their built in transcoder.

Yes... remotes work fine!  And right now on a PC (not extenders) you dont need the mouse at all to watch full screen hulu content!  And guys... I am getting close to having the ready to post for download of the inital release!!!

Not sure if this was asked, will Apple Trailers be included (I know you can get through Yougle but would be nice to have it here as well so you don't have to switch between apps)
