I have an old modem laying about but I'm unsure if it will work for caller ID. I'm not wanting to tear into everything unless I have to. The modem is a Conexant Riptide RACC010 D7400-12 and I am still hunting for Vista drivers. Little info is online and I really don't know the specifics about what is needed for a modem to get caller ID. Can anyone help?

Is the system this modem is in still working?  You can test if it has caller ID functionality using hyperterminal.
