I might be going mad here but the Add MIssing Channel menu item appears to have dissapeared in Windows 7 RTM. Can anyone else confirm this or point me in the right direction to where it is.
I am running the RTM from MSDN and it appears for me under Settings->TV->Guide second item down says "Add Missing Channels" right between edit channels and Edit favorite Lineups
Thats very odd then as it definately isn't there on mine. I'm running Ultimate 64 Bit from Technet. The plot thickens
The button won't be there if you only have digital tuners in your machine.
I hope this helps!
By digital tuners, do you mean cable card tuners - because an ATSC/QAM tuner is digital.

Win7 Ultimate x32 SP1, Harmony 700, Comcast Houston (cable co), Cooler Master Elite 360 Mini Tower case on it's side, ASUS M4A87TD-USB3 MB, AMD Phenom II 555 Black DualCore, 4G RAM, PNY GT440 1gb DDR5, 160GB SATA II (OS) - AHCI, 1TB SATA II (DATA) - AHCI, LG GGC-H20LK Combo drive, TMT3, Ceton InfiniTV 4, Onkyo TX-SR608, Samsung PN50C550
To be very specific, the button will not be there if you have no analog tuners. That button is only present if analog tuners are present.
So... I've just added some international channels to my TV subscribtion at Verizon Fios.
I can tune to these channels (1773-1775) using the set-top box. These channels do appear www.zap2it.com. And I clearly rememeber I could see these channels in the Vista MC guide before because I considered subscribing to these channels before and thought it would be nice to record them in the media center.
However these channels are not in Windows 7 MC guide (there is nothing above 931) and the option to add a missing channel is now missing.
How do I and customers like me who pay for optional international packages get them in the Media Center? Any ideas?

If they are premium channels you need cablecard anyway.
If they are premium channels you need cablecard anyway.
Yes, of course I have CableCard. Without it I wouldn't get any channels on Verizon FIOS.
But regardless of the cable card, my understanding is that the availability of the channels in the guide has nothing to do with what channels I am really subscribed to and whether I have cable card or not. The guide comes out of band from a network service Zap2It.com. The problem is that not everything available on Zap2It.com for "Seattle Verizon FIOS digital" appears in the guide in Windows 7 MC. Channels with numbers above 1000 get filtered out somehow in Windows 7 and they didn't in Vista.
