Hi all,

 

I searched and searched for this and found nothing....  I have a vista media center box and have some MP4 files that am trying to playback.  How can I do this... I seem to remember something about a registry hack and FFDshow, but cannot honestly remember.  Does anyone have simple instructions for getting this done....

It isn't a registry hack, it is a registry key that tells Windows that mp4 files should be perceived as video files. Once this is done you'll be able to see them in Media Center. Once it is visible in Media Center a combination of Haali + FFDShow and you'll be able to play them. Import the following registry key: http://www.mikinho.com/wmc/fix/mp4.reg.
