I have an antenna and a WInTV PVR (not sure the model number but it works) it's not a hardware problem.

Where i live there is a Channel 7 transmitter that is very low power and a channel 47 transmitter from the same station that I can get crystal clear.  The problem is, that 47 (actual channel) is also using channl 7 as it's (fake) channel.  Media center uses channel 7 (the weak one) in the listing and will not try to use channel 47 (the strong one).

When I try to "add missing channels" it won't let me use 7.1  and if I put 47.1 in there, it doesn't pick it up.

I can't find a way for it to ignore the weak 7.1 and use the strong 7.1 (47).

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Another way to do it is to delete the astschannels.xml file and then maually add 7.1 on ch47 using the Add DTV Channels menu.  Then redownload the guide to restore the atscchannels.xml file.
