Does Microsoft think that anyone that uses a 360 as an extender in there home will choose to use only one?  They allow up to 4 extenders for Media Center so why do they not allow you to custimize them and give them their own name instead of "Xbox 360"?  This makes if very difficult when trying to uninstall one since they all have the same name. The problem is extenders and Media Center can be troublesome during setup when the Media Center will act like it can't connect to the Extender. So anytime you accidently uninstall the wrong one you have to take a chance on reinstalling it and praying that it will complete successfully.

Anyone know of a way around this?

If you go into the porperties of the extender it will give the MAC Address and IP Address, this although not ideal is one way around your problem.
