Marvin on Disapproving Rabbits
masteroffm:got mine today and its not a bad remote, feels a little funny in your hand. disappointed that the number keys dont light up but not really a big deal.
masteroffm, any chance you could provide an additional review? i wish philips would release the RF version of the remote. i am looking for a relatively cheap remote that is better than the standard Microsoft Media Center remote.
I think SpecialTech are the sole UK distributor for Origen products. Their site at www.specialtech.co.uk does not list these parts, but I suppose they may be able to order them for you.
Can anyone confirm whether you can program the "Mute" button, I can't get it to work (TV Power and Vol +/- work ok), but I have heard it is supposed to.
Sorry guys no luck on that mute button. "learning keys - Power, Volume (3 Keys)"
It's the last item on the 2nd page.

Does anyone know how to program this thing, I just picked up one, and the "Manual" on Origen ae's site mentions "For more information, see “Using the Remote Control Learning Functionality” later in this manual." however this section does not exist in the Manual/FAQ provided.
Thanks in advance.
Ben D directed me to an article, so if anyone is looking to program the buttons on thier media center remote the procedure can be found here.
I hope this helps someone.
Thank you very much. That was extremely helpful.
