I recently added a WHS to the house and have been REAL happy with the addition. Fun in a box!
I am still messing around with many of the features trying to determine the best way to run it...

What I cannot seem to figure out is how to create a compressed file for my Zune without having the server archive the show onto the server itself.
(read this as... I am successful at getting a compressed copy if I archive the show on the server)

The settings area allows me to select only create a compressed copy... but it does not work.

Do I have a problem or do I just not understand the feature?

I am aware of that... Its just painfully slow...   with the WHS... I wake up in the AM and woop there it is...
