I made a blog post over on the Extreme Windows Blog about this and started this thread becuase I'm consdering giving this a shot next year.  The better pricing is apparenlty all earlier in the year so I'm hoping I can figure out what I'd like to do soon. I've done a bunch with X10 but never attempted anything like this.  This looks like a good way to get enough to play with without it being too complex: http://www.lightorama.com/ShowtimePC.html
