Greetings!
I finally upgraded to VMC from MCE 2005 this weekend. I was hoping to see more detail on high resolution digital pictures on my 1080p screen.
I've found that the images are still scaled somehow, and that the "zoom" feature doesn't actually load up more pixels ~ seems to just zoom in on the originally scaled image.
The easiest way to see this is to load a 1920x1080 image as a "Desktop Background", then load the picture in VMC and switch between the two. Striking difference.
Am I missing something in VMC?

This is yet another example of a basic function that people have been asking for for years and is always responded to as "we are aware of customer demand and are looking at it" but it never comes. It was supposed to be in Windows 7 going by some very old ramblings that I remember but still no dice... and I doubt it will be done for years to come (assuming Media Center is still around then)
