WMC is really truly a useless piece of work. A beautiful interface to nowhere. I have an itunes library. I am a consummate end-user. I do not modify progs. I would like to use WMC on my 2008 hp, but, without the ability to import my itunes library, I never will. In fact I would like to delete it, as I am sure it takes up far too much space. can you help me to delete it without frying my computer?
Thank-you for nothing,
Personally, I'd suggest returning the HP and buying a Mac.
If you must stick with the HP, know that Media Center most likely takes up .0002% of your storage space.
There is a program called MCETUNES that allows you to import our iTunes library into you Vista Media Center.

Before calling something a piece of trash, you should do a little more homework. If you had registered here to ask for suggestions to see if you could somehow integrate the two, then people would have told you that it can be done. If you're just looking to import you itunes library and manage you music collection through itunes then please consider this plug in: http://www.mcetunes.com/index.htm .
It works in Vista and it usually works in 7, but it's hit or miss. It works in my HTPC that runs W7 32bit. You can get a trial version and see if it works in your system. They haven't updated it yet to support W7.
7MCE does not even take up a 16th of space on the drive. It's a very small portion of the OS, but I think you just came here to complain instead of looking for a solution.
